Eye to Eye

Our girls grew up hearing ..."I don't want you looking up to me, that would mean I'd be looking down on you. I want us to be eye to eye ..." 


When you choose your friends well they become "family". 


Two of my families were at different ends of the entertainment business. Curt's father Marvin was the CFO of Parnelli Jones Enterprises.



Tony's Uncle Donny owned Quantum Recording Studios. Both of my families serviced giants, names well known by many of the day.

Both Curtis and Tony have passed. Before Curt passed he said, "...the biggest problem you're going to have once I'm gone is relevance. We bring it to each other. You know, people have a hard time believing the life we lead was real." He added, "We grew up on the shoulders of giants pal. Most haven't.

I've been attacked with explosives by legendary names in motor sports ...all in good fun of course

I've been called "You" by one of the most unpleasant world class singers in history while a name all of entertainment looks up to spent the night in my studio then took me home for breakfast ...he asked my wife first.

Given the gift of my past, and the people in it, it's extremely difficult to follow the advice given to our daughters ...don't look up to anyone. Look them in the eye.
